For my art shift I recreated the painting called "The Girl with a Pearl Earring" I thought this project was herd. It was hard to find clothing that looked similar. I thought the hardest thing was the lighting and how to get the angle of the face to look good. I took a lot of pictures and finally got an OKAY one!
This is my favorite picture that I took for the portrait project! I really like this one because it really focuses on the person and the background is sort of blurred. I also like it because it shows how happy kids are, and how they can be silly! I think that this picture has really good composition, the colors work well together!
This is my favorite picture I took for the Toy Photography unit. I really like how the police officer falls on one of the lines of thirds. I also like how the front of the truck is blurry and the police officer and the bad guy are in focus. I also like how bright the colors look, and how the background is not a distraction.
This photo above is taken by Kilian Schönberger. I really like it because it is so mysterious, it makes me want to go inside and explore. I love that there is a rule of thirds going on, it really adds mystery to the photo. I really like this picture because it seems like it has an untold story that is waiting to be told.
Check out more of his work here: http://www.kilianschoenberger.de/ This photograph really stood out to me because of the skyscrapers. I think it looks really mysterious because the fog is covering the tops of the buildings. I that the building that is lit up in the photo looks really cool, I would say that it is the focal point of the picture. I also like how even in the darkness the lit-up building brings light to the world, I think that makes the photo really beautiful.
